Personality Description:
Xanthos is a very high-strung, agressive horse. He's pretty territorial, and the only other stallion he's ever been able to be pastured with is Bailos. Though very intelligent, this is sometimes to the rider's disadvantage-- he knows when someone is inexperianced or new, and he knows how to get rid of them. The only people able to ride him successfully (meaning 99% of the time) are Kallistrate and Lysandra.

Xanthos was born on a large ranch in the Southwestern U.S., the retirement home for many barrel racing and other Western riding superstars. Kalli's family paid quite a bit for the pedigree foal, but as soon as he was old enough they had him transported by boat to Greece.
He wasn't an easy horse to train. He required special treatment so as not to destroy anything. But he did delevop a very strong bond with Kalli and Lysandra.
Xanthos is currently being housed on the Brookshire grounds in the creepy old stable next to the overgrown horse trail.

Personality Description:
As high-strung and disagreeable as Xanthos, if not more, Bailos is also a very territorial stallion with a deep hatred for most riders. If only a handful of people can handle Xanthos, only two can handle Bailos-- Kalli and Lysandra. And he has a slight preference for Kallistrate.
Also very intelligent but very dangerous, standing behind him is NEVER a smart thing to do...He's also far more nervous and likely to spook.

Another very expensive pedigree horse, Bailos was born at a very traditional, very prestigious stable in Saudi Arabia-- even moreso than the place Xanthos was born. There was quite a bit of negotiation involves, considering how highly their horses were valued and how against selling to outsiders they were.
But eventually he was packed up into a trailer and traveling cross continent, on his way to a large, plesant estate in the Greek countryside.
And then was packed up again to travel overseas to Brookshire. He's currently not a happy horse.
