In an online RP, God-Modding is the term used for those whom create a character that is, virtually, indestructible. This is frowned upon by other members of the RPG and is extremely annoying. This can also result in a possible ban.

Generally
God-Modding occurs when a player describes an event, or a series of events he/she has taken against another player in the RP. The second player describes actions taken that completely nullify the original actions against them.
:: For example:
Player One: Mike picks up a grenade, pulls the pin, throws it at Sam. Then he ninja-style jumps up the wall, pulls a plug and has hundred of bricks fall on Sam, then he pulls out a revolver and shoots three bullets.
Player Two: Sam catches the granade, throws it out the window, then he runs super fast to the other side of the room dodging every single brick, catches the third bullet and throws it at Mike killing him.
^ Player Two = G-Mod.
SOMETHING had to hurt Player Two. Whether it's the bricks falling on him and cutting him, or even a bullet grazing his shoulder. SOMETHING.!!
God-Modding can also refer to where Player Two describes the outcome of their own actions AGAINST another character. For example, Player Two states: "Spyder grabs a sword and slashes at Mike's chest, causing a huge gash."
Controlling characters that ARE NOT YOURS to begin with is also God-Modding.
Fight Scenes
God-Modding is, most often, used during fight scenes. While it is hard to determine what another character will do, you must always leave the option open for them to dodge, duck, run, etc. You may not state your attack directly hit them and they fell down, or anything of that kind.
