Also known as a Condensed Biography[/sup]
Sylveryn, Vishen M
Age: 17
Gender: Obscured by random ink spillage...
Hair: Light brown.
Eye: Blue (Technically a blue-grey.)
Race: Mixed heritage.
Grade: Senior
Class: [For Admin to decide.]
Grade point average: 4.0
Residence - Girls dormitory. Private room.
Abilities - Vishen is adapt at moving and adapting forms of water. He states that he has the potential to do much more than merely shape it, but given the rate at which students powers grow it is unlikely that he will ever be able to do more than merely freeze it with his strongest efforts. All tests to create barriers, projectiles, and other feats he claims to have performed in the past have ended in failure.
Personality - Quiet and reserved, Vishen has few close friends and keeps to his studies. It should be noted that he is not against being amongst his peers, it just seems as though he struggles with dealing with many people at once. He prefers smaller classes and takes his time to do things thoroughly. Perhaps due to his nature, let alone his charming good looks, it seems there has been a fan club put together in his honor...by male and female admirers alike.
Notes - Student was found collapsed earlier in the year from being stranded out in the desert thanks to a hazing incident and has suffered damage from the heat stroke. While it seems he has recovered physically all memory of his personal history* seems lost.
*Vishen has not lost any memory, this is assumed by the staff because he cannot tell them about his true origins. Still, it seems strange, at least to him, that the people of the school have a memory of him at all.
Expanded Biography
Character Name: Vishen Mureil Konten Alueshious Sylveryn
Character Age: Ageless (Easily confused to be an upper class student at the Academy or a young adult when around town.)
Birth Date: Sylveryn was born under the elemental symbol of Water. His birthday is thus in the middle of the Winter season.
Gender: Genderless (I'll primarily use male pronouns when describing and playing Sylveryn unless plot makes it necessary to use a more feminine touch.)
It should be interesting to note that his school transcript 'accidentally' had ink spill over the area that specified gender...so even the school officials are left to make their own conclusions! To make matters even more complex Vishen's currently staying in the girls dormitory on campus and has since developed quite a following (lit. fan club) of both genders. He doesn't seem to care, and has good humor about it, even taking it upon himself to attend the occasional meeting. Thanks to the confusion over his gender, students often get into arguments over calling Vishen a "he" or a "she" amongst themselves and it doesn't seem like the issue will be put to rest any time soon as Sylveryn will answer to both. Much to the chagrin of fans convinced one way or the other.
Race: [Former] Deity of Water
Occupation: Wanderer/Student
Physical Appearance
(Wanna' see the picture that inspired Vishen's current looks? Click HERE! That's Gackt by the way...)
Eye Color: Grey-blue (One of the few physical features Vishen keeps the same.)
Hair: Varies (Vishen has the ability to change his hair color on a whim.) Typically he goes with something simple and short, but he has on occasion gone with long locks. He prefers to keep his hair color a deep brown, although he’s not limited to “normal” hair colors and has been seen with a blue tint before.
While at the Academy Sylveryn keeps his hair length at the nape of his neck. It appears to be a lighter brown, almost dirty blond, seemingly bleached from the constant sun exposure he gets from the desert area.
Height: 5’11’ (This could change too if he really wanted, although generally he likes to be this tall.)
Vishen is best described as being rather soft when in his human form. He keeps a very boyish face and puts many people at ease around him. Although he could change his form to go along with anything, he generally likes to stay with his frame being rather tall and light with his skin being rather pale. However recently he has begun to take on something of a tan. Much to his displeasure. Since he started noticing this, he has taken extra precautions when going outside as he does not want to risk burning his skin.
Serpent Form: When he is able to store enough water magics in his system Vishen could choose to forgo his human form for that of something close to his deity form: a great water serpent close to that of a dragon. While he can never obtain his former glory his serpentine form is certainly a thing to behold. Unfortunately neither Earth nor Morphiesx contain the right density of Sylveryn's particular water magics to support his alternate form (although his magics are unhindered). Another world, known to those on Earth as Aurmata, does however, seem to have the potential to support Vishen the Serpent. It has yet to be tested however.
Other: While his serpentine form does not have wings he is able to fly and could very easily make himself appear to have ‘light wings’, which he does frequently in order to make himself look relatively ‘normal’ while flying in his human form... Light wings are essentially particles of water made visible. Vishen’s magics are such that he could bend the light going through the water to fool people into thinking the wings were made of feathers but he has no say as to what color they appear as – and as such they generally look clear or take on the surrounding colors like a dull mirror. The wings serve no purpose other than to look visually appealing, although Vishen will often protest that he cannot (more like will not) fly in his human form without them.
Personality Traits: Vishen is usually described as easy going and carefree and hides his true intelligence and magical prowess behind a veil of smiles and laughter. At times when he is caught off guard he can come off as rather harsh and withdrawn. When put into a position of peril Vishen would prefer to use words over weapons, but when pressured he is a very dangerous enemy, and an even greater ally.
Always one to enjoy life Vishen tries to see the good in people and the world in general. One of his favorite hobbies is just watching people as they go about their day. Although he is rather distant when it comes to actually interacting with others; he tries to keep an emotional distance from people so he doesn't become attached as he does not want harm to come to others by being involved with him. To keep his true self a secret, he maintains an aloof persona; he doesn't quite realize that by behaving like that that people are more likely to want to be around him than not. He loathes fighting and his greatest fears are that people would find out that he was a 'deserter god' and seek to harm him or those he cares the most about.
His goal in life is to gain his full powers back so he can feel complete, although he no longer wants the position of a deity.
Special Talents/Abilities: When enough water energy is stored within his soul Vishen can call forth magical barriers (presumably made of water or ice) that are strong enough to withstand most magical and non-magical weaponry. He is also able to create magical daggers to use as weapons. He has other powers, but those are generally the only ones he ever lets anyone see and even then it is rare. His other powers include pulling water out of air, freezing existing water, and even creating rainstorms.
His powers are significantly weaker in his human form than in his serpentine form.
Much like when he was visiting a strange desert world a while back Vishen's strength and true potential has been stolen by the fire elementals that inhabit the surrounding desert sands of the Brookshire Academy. Albeit these lands are far less harsh than the aforementioned world. Yet it is still impossible for him to return to his serpent form, fly, or perform any major feats, and it is even harder still for him to even maintain an ample supply of his magical reserves--which he is using sparingly saving the bulk of his magic for when he is ready to leave this world behind. For if he is not careful, he risks stranding himself here and becoming totally powerless...
Items / Artifacts: Vishen Sylveryn is in possession of several unique items that give him some startling abilities. One of which is a relatively normal looking stone from his native river – the stone enables anyone within range to understand Vishen’s speech, as well as enabling him to understand theirs even though he still hears their words in a different language. It seems that while the stone translates his speech for others it merely gives Vishen the knowledge of other languages (almost like when we watch movies in another language with English subtitling). The stone hangs around his neck on a simple silver chain. It is usually hidden beneath his clothing. It is black and does not appear valuable to most cultures.
The other item is a rare artifact obtained from an old world that Sylveryn stayed at... It is an old leather bound book containing information about summon-spirits and other magics. While useless because the world from which it came operated under different linguistic rules, magics, and spirits, it is very much a treasured memento. It was from this book that Vishen helped assist a young magic-user by the name of Roh learn to work her latent abilities (despite having read it herself, she really wasn't the type to get things that way). So when it came time for Vishen to leave the girl's world she gave her book to him.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Vishen has a strange obsession with mouths, be that his own or others. He constantly finds his fingertips on his lips and when given the opportunity he will try to kiss other people. It is unknown why he behaves in this manner and most chalk it up to just another zany antic of his.
Generally invulnerable to most magics and physical ailments (sickness), Vishen grows surprisingly weak when he goes without water for a long amount of time; as such, he tends to drink a lot of it. During rainstorms he enjoys just standing out in it whereas most people would be running for cover.
Note: Contrary to popular belief Vishen is not immortal, although he does not seem to physically age, and he is not immune to sharp, shiny, pointy objects, and can be killed by most conventional means as he does not quick-heal as some mistakingly think upon judging him. It is not presently known how old he is or what his lifespan is. One can only assume however that he will die when his creator kicks the bucket, although this too is pure speculation.
Family Members:
"Sister" - Abigale Eukie Zenati Lan-glen (Location unknown.)
Background/History: Vishen Mureil Konten Alueshious Sylveryn was once a great deity of water and considered one of the most powerful. When the other deities were choosing their loyalties, Vishen remained behind thinking the fighting pointless and thus he was abandoned by both sides and labeled a deserter and traitor. He was cast down to live upon the earth. The other deities intended to strip him of all of his godly powers, but surprisingly Vishen was able to retain a fraction of them.
When the war between the Gods of Vishen's home plain began, Sylveryn's feelings of not truly belonging were at their peak causing his indecision to choose sides, which resulted in him being cast aside... When Vishen found himself nearly powerless and weak he chose to go on a journey to regain what he had lost...
Recent History: Much to his dismay Vishen Sylveryn had found himself in yet another world of sand and fire. He had thought the last world he visited had been rough, fortunately he had learned from past mistakes and had remembered to keep suitable desert fairing supplies on his person at all times. So when he found himself surrounded by more hot dunes he was able to escape them...but just barely.
Exhausted, sunburn, near death and delirious he stumbled into the oasis town where he promptly collapsed on the grounds of the Brookshire Academy. Thinking him to be a poor student tricked out into the desert by cruel peers the people of the school took him in and nursed him back to health. When all was said and done arrangements had been made for him to stay and attend classes. Vishen is still unsure just how they managed to obtain records of his personal information and enrollment and can only assume that this plain held an alternate version of himself at one point or another. Whether or not his other self remains is unknown and he has not given it any thought what-so-ever and has gladly decided to take on the roll of a student for a little while.
If only until he is able to save up the strength needed to get out of this terrible fire-ridden country.

Vishen Sylveryn awoke to his head aching terribly. He gingerly reached up a slender hand and touched the back of his head. Beneath his short brown locks was a horrible lump...at least it didn't feel like any blood had shed... The last thing he remembered was some stranger walking up behind him and hitting him with some blunt object, panicked he transported himself to a new world instinctively...
He sat up stiffly and took in his surroundings. It was familiar to him, a lush forest, although the trees were different somehow, but he couldn't make out why. They seemed normal...thick branched with dark green, leaves deep brown. Most were tall and almost entirely covered the sky. Only a thin green light managed to filter down from above. It must be day or this place would clearly get no light at all.
After sitting a moment and letting his headache subside Vishen slowly got to his feet. He stood tall and scanned the forest, but all was quiet. Either he'd just arrived not moments ago and frightened away every creature, or something much more sinister was going on. He'd never heard such quiet in all his life... He shut his watery grey eyes in hopes of getting a better sense of this strange place.
"Nothing..." He thought after a long span of silence, "No feeling at all... It's as if everything is dead." Vishen took a few cautious steps toward a tree closest to him and reached out to it. He expected to feel the rough bark beneath his fingertips, but he got a sudden surprise... "It's not real," he passed his hand through the tree several times, "How is this possible... Have I died?" It was then he realized what was so strange about the quiet forest. It carried no smell - it was completely sterile.
