Personality Description:

Upon first meeting her, one might think Katja was a Bishy, nasty, stick-up-her-ass Bish-- and they'd be right. Dark, broody, and almost constantly annoyed, you'd be lucky to get more than two words out of her at any given time.

She isn't always totally obnoxious... Just not very talkative. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor, nor does she appreciate sarcasm much. (Though it's a tool she herself frequently uses). Kat has issues opening up to people, and is quite content by herself, thank you very much.

Katja does, though, have a tendency to become single minded and almost obsessive-- if she wants something, she will have it, regardless of how much food or sleep she loses over it.

¡H I S T O R Y!

Katja was born the youngest child and only daughter of a Helsinki school teacher and a Hyrylä (Helsinki Air Defence Regiment; Helsingin Ilmatorjuntarykmentti, HelItR) vet. She grew up in a small two-family house, of which her family owned both sides.( Being that she had three older brothers, the room was much required.)

Her mother ran away with a Norse banker when she was young, and so Katja still harbors a grudge against her for that. It didn't help much when years later, her mother decided to make an attempt to come back into the lives of her four eldest children, bringing with her a new husband and daughter... Katja hasn't spoken to her since she was fifteen.

She stumbled onto the Epäilys guild quite by accident, but when they offered her a chance to escape from her problems-- both academic and family-- she joined without a second thought.
