Personality Description:

Niko is a kind of complex guy. He's arrogant, tricky, deceitful, and above all, a protector.

He's quite aware of how good looking he is, and acts like the big man on campus no matter where he is. He doesn't like following rules, or even listening to his surperiors, so he acts out in ways where he doesn't do exactly what he's told, but it seems like he is. Niko is quite cocky, doesn't take no for an answer, especially from a girl he's trying to ask out. He can be quite persistent, but would never force anyone into doing something they don't want to.

Niko has quite a few tricks up his sleeve. He's never caught in a bad situtation because he can always figure out a way out of it. And when his words don't work, he simply uses his fists instead. A good punch in the mouth always seem to make people more agreeable. Besides that he enjoys magic tricks, and has incorporated all of them into his fighting styles, during interrogations, and of course when he's holding captives, or is being held captive himself.

But, alas, Niko has a small, tiny, itty-bitty, little problem: he's a compulsive liar. Although he's working on it. He tends to look out just for himself, and will say just about anything to make other people believe he is on there side. But in the end he'll stay true to himself, and make sure that he comes out looking like a star, while leaving every one else in the dust. Of course there are the select few people who he refuses to lie too, and would never hurt if he can help it, but most don't trust him because of his past.

Besides everything else, Niko is a protector. Now, he won't jump in front of a speeding bullet for just anyone, nor will he take a wound for most of the men he knows. But, for some odd reason, no matter what, he always finds himself protecting the women in his life. Especially a specific little blond he grew up with. As a hunter, Niko is trained to be a killer and to look out for himself, but because of his gentler nature, that he keeps hidden very well, Niko tends to help others out if they need it. [Again, not so much the men.]

Super Speed. But unlike most who use their speed to run faster, or jump higher, Niko uses it more in his fighting, and to dodge bullets, flying daggers, or speeding cars. Sort of like stopping time, but really all he's doing is moving at an incredible rate.

¡H I S T O R Y!

Niko was born to a poor farming family in Hämeenlinna, Finland. Once he turned five, Niko spent a lot of his time working, as best he could, on the farm with his father and older brother. But, just after his sixth birthday, his father drove him [via a horse and carriage] into the town of Ekenäs, where he was brought to the door of Shiloh Epäilys. His father, in a way to save his farm and his family, sold Niko into the world of Hunters.

Why?

Because Shiloh, in her very absurd and paranoid way, had looked up every birth within two years of her own daughter, both before and after her birth, to see if there had been any others born [in Finland] with special gifts. Although she found no one with any gifts, she found Niko to be quite promising as a Hunter. How? The world may never know, but Shiloh offered a good price for him and Niko's father couldn't pass up the money. So, the young boy grew up in the home of Shiloh and his newly best friend Caeleigh. He was only a couple years older then her, and the two of them bonded over the years of training. But while Niko was forced into becoming a hunter, Caeleigh was left behind to study as an informer.

Yet, Niko made it his mission to see Caeleigh as often as he could. The two had acted like brother and sister for so long that any sort of romantic ties between them were non-exsistent. That is, until cae caught Niko with a "girlfriend", she was heartbroken, and although she didn't understand it, her mother on the other hand did. Shiloh sent her heart broken daughter to America as an informer, and sent Niko to look after her, in a covert, secret kind of way.
