For one hundred years, Aurmata has been recuperating from an ancient evil.[/font][/blockquote]
For one hundred years they have mourned the loss of their villages, and built them once more. Exceeding their former glory.
And for one hundred years they have all come to together at the Coastlines to celebrate.
That is, until now.
A few centuries after the birth of the island nation, Aurmata, a hellion arose from the depths of the sea and took it’s first steps upon the land’s soil. This demon, who’s name was unspoken, created destruction everywhere he went. Starting at the coasts he slowly worked his way inland. For weeks he burned villages to the ground, killed any who stepped in his path and twisted the minds of others to join in league behind him.
It seemed as though the farther he stepped into the island, the more powerful he became.
Stepping from the darkness of Moon Valley, the demon - now called Vicious - and his army was greeted by a small group of tribes people. The Grasslands would not allow this terror to continue any farther. With them was a young woman by the name of Shi’ian, and she held the rare power to seal gods and demons alike. Vicious laughed for hours as he stared down the small group, his sick smile only growing. Lunging forwards he attacked Shi’ian, not expecting her to last very long.
Their battle lasted for five days and six nights.
On the morning of the sixth day Vicious stood over and exhausted woman, triumph and breathing easily. He went to kick her down, the final blow he would have to give. However Shi’ian grabbed his leg and brought the dagger from it’s sheath. Bringing Vicious down she stabbed the dagger through his chest, freezing him and sacrificing herself in the process.
They loaded the demon upon a boat and took him far into the sea, dropping him into it’s dark depths and leaving him to rot. Shi’ian was burned, and a ceremony was held for her, The Spring Carnival. And every year since, the Aurmatans have gathered by the shores to ritually cast stones into the sea and praise the gods.
Until this year.
The Spring Carnival falls upon a lunar eclipse and it just so happens that Vicious is strong enough to break from his seal. With this ancient terror back what will happen to Aurmata? Is there another out there who can destroy the Black Demon? Or will the land have to suffer eternally?
From the outskirts of the Great White City comes a message. A lord with information about the kin of Shi’ian, one who has the same power they need to destroy Vicious. But in order to receive the information, someone will have to win a tournament.
Now the countries are sending two of their finest to this Lord’s small castle. Wanting their Champion to win the information and bring back the fortune, and the answer to everyone prayers.
Is this the answer? Is this mysterious Lord telling the truth? Can Shi’ian’s child hold the power to destroy the demon? And what if it’s a hoax?
