Come One; Come All; It's Time. [Students/Staff]

It was time.
Another year to begin. Another year to study.
Another year to experiment.

The theater had yet to fill. It's seats were, for the most part, empty. Except for the few students pocketed in different sections. Most sat by themselves, staring blankly at the seemingly empty stage, while others played with their little electronic devices. Soon they would discover that their cell phones would not receive a signal, no matter where they stood on the grounds [Osamu had made sure nothing would interfere with his experiments], and he would hear a handful of complaints a day about it. But he rarely cared what others said, thought or even questioned, and besides, he had given them their precious internet.

If it hadn't been for the fact that this was a school... He probably would never have allowed them that. But alas, he was playing nice, and he was playing safe.

Smiles rarely graced his impassive features, his lips were more used to frowning down then to lifting upwards. And it felt odd, that now, he was smiling. Osamu wasn't happy, never happy, he didn't know what happiness was. He could portray it, smile when he was supposed to, faking it in just the right manner. But they were never genuine, never real. And the one gracing his lips at this moment wasn't a happy smile. It was just plain creepy.

No one knows... No one suspects. They never suspect. They never want to see much past the outer shell. Hmhm. If only, if only these foolish parents knew what they were getting their children into.

[/color]. He was a demon in the guise of a earth-bound angel. His young, handsome features distracted people from seeing what his insides portrayed. If someone had the gift to see aura's, his would be pitch black.

Down. Right. Evil.

Of course. No one would ever know. He would never tell a soul and those he experimented on, well, let's just say they weren't able to speak for themselves anymore.

Osamu's arms crossed behind his back, his palms facing upwards and resting just above the curve of his bottom. The smile was gone, his dark eyes staring straight ahead through the small slit in-between the curtains, his lips stone on his impassive face. He would have to wait a little longer, just until all the students were seated and ready. When all the teachers were standing and waiting for him to appear.

He was a patient man. He could wait.

Facebook was not working.
No, you know what it was? No service.
He hit the teeny-tiny keyboard about a million times.
"Aurghgh!" A few heads in the theatre turned.
Obviously, poking at the buttons on your phone in a musical pattern does not help it get service.

Greggy wasn't happy. It was the first day on the job with students. He disliked them.

"Oh, yeah. 'Verizon has the #1 coverage in America'...well, screw you!" More heads turned.

One lost kid came up to him earlier and asked where the Hell the bathroom was. "Well, if you want the cockroaches to diddle you in your pants, then it's to the lef--" the kid disapparated before he'd finished the sentence.

He pocketed his Blackberry. He wouldn't need it.
He stared down one kid in the front row who was looking at him awkwardly.
"What are you staring at?"
The kid moved one row back.

For lack of interest, Greg stared at the rest of the staff, who were all like different Power Rangers that needed to be attacked by Greg the God...(JK) Well, they reminded him of a rainbow.
Especially the one right next to him...

Gizette liked her rainbow hair. She didn't like the guy next to her.

He'd been too cynical the past few weeks, preparing for the students' coming, and the occasional maverick in the Headmaster's eyes. Greg, you're such an ass... She rolled her eyes and saw the two knuckle heads, the one, the only, dynamic duo. She didn't mind either of them. Mike and Sam were sweethearts, though Mike didn't like to talk much and Sam ran his mouth like a machine gun spewing bullets. She smiled at them, as freakishly demented it was, she meant it.

You crazies...

She then turned her attention to the crowd, which was slowly getting bigger as some stragglers entered...

Diesel was okay that Othello was waiting outside, right?
Well...

At first he'd had a fit trying to get his O-Zone tee on (it apparently pulled a magic trick and managed to shrink itself about three times over in the wash). He was beginning to get annoyed. But even before that Othello'd woken him up at three in the morning, only him. The poor boy wanted his breakfast, and in the act of opening the Beneful dry food package, it spilled all over the kitchen floor because Othello pounced on him.

Jasper exploded.
Or, would have if Diesel wasn't so scared of him that he cleaned out the entire kitchen to avoid that.

Diesel spent four hours cleaning the kitchen EXACTLY as it was before, including the smell. That meant skipping breakfast and slipping on dress pants, the XXXXXS O-Zone tee and a jacket over it. There wasn't any Febreeze at hand, but thank god Lux found half a lemon in the mini-fridge.

So, he cleaned the tiles with lemon juice.
It was a bad morning so far...

She was just a minute late...who'd care if she was missing for a minute? God? She had confidence that he would.

With grace, she swung through the entrance to the theatre and took a seat in the fourth row, next to a guy who'd dyed the front of his hair firetruck-red. Hmm...a lil' odd... She poked his shoulder. "Mind if I sit here?" she asked him.

Sylvia was surprised to se a (slightly cute) foreign dude nod to her, and scooch over one seat so she could sit next to him. "Oh, hey, thanks!" She grinned broadly and made the classic "Oh. Em. Gee. I. Am. Next. To. You." routine, which was...

[1] Flip the hair,
[2] Fix the skirt, and
[3] Cross them legs!

The latina already had her latte, so she could officially say she was happy. She leaned over to see that "Mr. Firetruck-red-hair" had another (seriously tall) friend next to him.

Oye...que lindos!

Lux woke up to Othello wagging his tail in front of his face. Not the best of the morning, but oh well. He helped Diesel clean the kitchen before either Jeremy or (THE DREADED) Jasper woke up. The Italian and the Romanian had dark cycles under their eyes, not too dark though, even if they lost a lot of sleep in the process of saving their butts from Jasper's whip (or so they believe that he has a whip in his pocket somewhere).

But other than that, Lux managed to slip on a nice pair of WHITE dress pants (uh...this IS Mr. CrazyTallItalian, here!), a white button-down shirt with a black tie and black shoes (meh). But as soon as he finished helping Diesel and dressing up for the first day of school, or rather, the orientation, he remembered something...

He immediately posted a huuuge poster of a Ferrari right on his bedside along with a picture of EMI's album artwork of "Anima Libera."

Very Italian.
Very Lux.

But anyways, he went downstairs to the theatre with Diesel, who was obviously in a bad mood and didn't--couldn't talk about it.

I can't believe it. My first day of school, real school, school with teachers in, and punishment, and impressions to last, and what do I go and do? Get lost. It's so unbelievably typical of me that it's sad. Really! Who does that? My feet hit the wooden floors hard as I dash through the hallways, ears sharp, listening out for a large gathering of people.

My day started off fine. That's the irony of it. I woke up with time to spare, made myself breakfast, got dressed into a decent-looking Metallica t-shirt (I tolerate the band, but their emblems are pretty cool) and jeans, put on shoes, greeted my roommate... And then didn't know where to go.

See, that's the problem with relying on sounds. You can't really see sighposts. Well, 'see' being the relative term. I didn't bump into anyone on the way, so just wandered helplessly. You know when you panic so much you forget to make sense? Yeah. So, finally, when I was running about ten minutes late, I actually remember that, hey, I can listen for a group of people! So that's what I've done. And it worked, too.

I sneak through the door. Remember mom's crash courses, I think. Surely you took something in about being quiet! I guess I did because the minimum amount of heads turn to me as I find a seat. I'm not sure who I sit next to. I think it might be female, but I'm too busy trying not to be noticed to listen to anyone's sounds. Be calm, be small, you're here... Jeez, mom's right! The principal is creepy!

Safe, for the moment, I can relax.

First encounter with the pupils. I look around from my chair, which seems hard and formal, down at the kids, across at the rest of the teachers. So much old, and so much new... This was my home not so long ago. I was that scrawny-looking kid, sitting and looking nervous, then nonchalant, then bored, then all-knowing, as time went on. No. Surely I couldn't have been that scrawny? I look at a small kid, who's tried to sneak in unnoticed. And failed. Nah. They just keep getting smaller.

Now the rest of the teachers. They're a mixed bunch! There's one guy, who I don't like just by looking at him. Something about the way he glares at one of the kids. I remember being looked at that way, and silently promise myself never, ever, to do that. Then there're two guys, look like kids to me, from the clothes to the expression. Woman with multi-coloured hair... Oops, here we go... Did not need to see that about her... Really... Go away... I shake my head, and sit up in my seat. That headmaster gives me the heebies. Don't want him on my case.

Better look professional... Oh, that's that guy's mom? Shut up. I'm trying to concentrate! I haven't had my coffee this morning. My mind keeps reminding me of that. Stupid sight...

Alex had been sleeping peacefully when all of a sudden the alarm to his bed side clock started buzzing like crazy. He gave out a yell and sat up looking around. He looked at the cause of the noise and slammed the off button. Sighing he stood up and scratched his head as he made his way to the bathroom where he brushed his teeth, did his hair and then went back to his room and changed into a pair of clean clothes.

Once ready he made his way out of the room and towards the theater where everyone was suppose to meet. Once he got there, he slipped in through the door and took the first open seat in the very back that he saw. He sat down and watched quietly without saying a word.

Magnum walked into the theater, not much caring for this whole orientation ceremony. Oh well, it's probably going to be nothing anyway. I just better be sure to keep my eyes open or else The Company might decide to get rid of me, Magnum thought, looking around trying to see any obvious signs of people with powers. No obvious signs, but no close observations have been made yet. Perhaps later I can get a closer look.

Angelus quietly sat to himself, which he didn't enjoy. He slide his new, fancy touch-screen cell phone out of his pocket and tried to pull up his rp, social networking, and manga reading sites. None of them worked. He stared angrily at the screen.

"Ok, you have two choices phone. You can start working, or you can be destroyed; your choice." Angelus tried to talk his phone into working. The phone still didn't work.

"Fine, if you don't want to work; I don't want to keep you." Angelus bit the top of his phone, grabbed the bottom part and broke his BRAND NEW phone in half. He spit out the bottom half and threw the other along with it. Angelus chuckled slightly and put on a confused face when the people around him started to look at him funny. He set his attection towards the stage, which was equally as dull. Too bad I can't just use my powers out in the open. Why can't the world just be more like me? Angelus thought to himself as he kicked back, put his headphones in, and blasted his favorite music; consisting of: Yellowcard, All Time Low, Escape the Fate, Finntroll, Flaming Tsunamis, Atreyu, and Slipknot. Angelus wanted this stupid waste of time to end, so he could go do something constructive. He lay there, just waiting.

This kid is a complete weirdo, I hope I don't have to share a room with someone like him, thought Magnum, sitting right behind Angelus. Clearly he hadn't noticed him yet, which was good. Hold on a second, no normal human can bite through a phone that easily. This kid is clearly abnormal. Damn, when does this stupid meeting assembly start. The sooner it starts, the sooner it ends.

Angelus was still bored, his music wasn't helping. He tilted his head back and caught a glimpse of an odd blue haired boy sitting behind him. Angelus reached back with one hand to instigate a handshake.

"My name's Angelus, Angelus Deviluke. I just began attending here and hope to become friends with at least three or four people. Would you like to be friends?" Angelus was very bored, as his tone of speech implied. He didn't wait for a response, instead he pushed off of the chair infront of him and flipped over his current chair, into the chair next to his new blue haired companion.

"So, now that the pleasantries are over, let's get started." Angelus laughed a little. Angelus propped his feet up and threw his arms out. He was being much more rude than normal.

"I never got your name. So, you got a name right?" Angelus looked at his new "companion", awaiting an answer.

[NICHOLAS FLAMEL]

((Dude, somehow I'm getting flashbacks to Light and L from Death Note.))

"Uh, sure," Magnum said uncertainly. He shook the hand offered to him. This guy is a total weirdo. But I guess it's no problem to let him think I'm his friend, he thought. "Yeah, I'll be your friend, Angelus."

"By the way, my name is Magnum. What classes are you taking and is this your first year here?"

"As I said, I just began here and so far I haven't signed up for any classes; so I need to do that soon." Angelus chuckled a little.

He read Magnum's face, Angelus was good at that.You can stop lying to me at anytime, you know that right?" Angelus said almost painfully blunt.

"You might not know this, but not many people actually like me. I've alway been the boy playing on the see-saw alone. So yeah, if you want me to move, I will." Angelus kept his head held high, even though he was beginning to be depressed.

((Yeah, I totally picture myself as more Light-esque than you. Plus, Light pretty much thought and said the same things as what I put, so it's cool.))

Magnum was taken aback a bit. He didn't like being found out when he was lying, it usually didn't go well afterward. He put on a sincere smile. He really did want a friend, he just didn't want to befriend someone he might have to bag later on. "I'm sorry. You do seem a bit weird, but I wouldn't mind being friends. I don't know anyone else here, so having a friend would be nice. You don't need to move."

Jacen rushed into the large theater, late and anxious. "No more all nighters on Face book..." He told himself quietly sitting down in the closest seat. Plopping down next to angelus he over heard the end of an apparently awkward conversation. "Hey, wake me i fa teacher comes by." He said nudging Angelus with his elbow. Leaning back in his chair he fell right asleep.

Angelus just got bumped while he was talking. He hated that. "That'd be nice Magnum. I never have friends, I think it's because I'm a little 'strange' as you say. Hold on for one second." Angelus tried to resist the urge to hit the person who elbowed him, he failed. Angelus layed a haymaker into the person next to him. He smiled devilishly after doing so.

"I'm sorry, my hand slipped. You did tell me to wake you if I saw a teacher, and I did." Angelus pointed up to the stage at the teachers sitting there.

"Now, if you don't mind, I'm currently talking to my friend." Angelus sat back down with Magnum and laughed slightly.

"Where were we, Magnum?"

Jacen snapped awake with the sudden smack, startled he nearly punched the guy in the face but remembered his place and simply leaned back in his chair. "hahahahaha you're hilarious...like he's going to notice one person sleeping!" Jacen grumbled as he began to close his eyes again. "I mean a teacher on monitor duty..." He mumbled his eyes rolling back in his head as he sank deeper into the chair.

"Uh, something about you enjoying my friendship," Magnum said. He kind of liked this guy. He was truthful, seemingly, and he could lay a good blow on people that annoyed. "Yeah, there's one about thirty feet behind us, staring right at us. Does that work for you?"


Hohenheim

Geeze, these kids. Always sleeping in classes. If only they could see their own futures. Some so bright... And yet, some so bleak... But all are ever changing. And if only I knew what was to happen to me, Hohenheim thought, leaning on the wall. His gaze fell upon a group of kids. He slid his glasses off and looked at them. Interesting. One is here for work, but not the conventional sense. And work he will do. The others futures keep changing, but I see lots of schoolwork in their futures. I do hope I teach the three of them.[/color]
