It wasn't often that Jasper had the chance to see other's visions, and even though he was a bit excited he wasn't too pleased with what he saw. He could see the pain, the blood, terror in both Tru and the young girl that was in the room with her. He didn't want to pry, but once he entered her mind it was hard to leave, hard, but not impossible.
"Maybe more then you think/" He shrugged his shoulders lightly, stepping slowly away from Tru and heading towards the purple colored shed and the Green House. His mood for the night was broken, he honestly didn't care what happened anymore. "So where are you from?" He didn't speak loudly, and didn't look back to see if she was following.

She followed him, trying to blink away the crimson in her eyes. She looked up when he ased her where she was from, and shrugged nonchalantly.
'Illinois.' She sent to him mentally, pushing the word out as far as she could, using her mental control to help. It was hard, but it wasn't telepathy. She was just making it stand out for him, since he probably couldn't just shut off his power, made tune it down, but not eliminate it. She didn't feel like talking. She feared her voice would tremble and crack, and she wouldn't be able to hold back her tears, which threatened to fill her eyes.

"Ah, I'm from Connecticut." His left foot stepped in a puddle of water and made his leather shoe slippery on the roof's tile. He slowed his pace, enough to where she caught up to him, and adverted his eyes else where.
It wasn't often that he saw inner, deeper parts of people. Mostly just the thoughts they were thinking currently, or if he had the opportunity he could see into his roommate's dreams. But that took a lot of concentrating and quite a bit of time, so he could only do it to sound sleepers or to people who were willing to have him look at them for a long period of time.
"Is this your first semester here?" He was trying to converse with Tru on mutual ground. Hopefully asking the right kinds of questions so she wouldn't have another episode like before. Jasper wasn't sure if he could stop himself from entering her mind again to watch.
For curiosity, of course.

Tru shook off the remnants of her sadness and balanced gingerly on the rooftop as she kept pace with Jasper again. "Third, actually. Me and Tori enrolled at the beginning of last year to get away from home." She replied, before looking up at the sky curiously and tilting her head, as if listening. She giggled and twirled, having one of her rare and odd moodswings.
She loved this freedom. She was making a friend- a hot friend, by the way- and she could be as open as she wanted around him. She felt so wildly free, the breeze whipping her scarlet hair around her, and making her red dress waver around her long, pale legs. She knew some girls would kill to have legs like her's. Pfffft. At least they probably tanned.
"So..." She said, her voice trailing off.
She'd run out of things to say. Oh Shiz. Screw 2012. The apocalypse HAD to be coming now. [/size]
