breathe the same air, we still
walk the same earth, and we
still feel the same emotions.
We aren't all human, we vary
in power and species... But we
are no different from you. We
are nothing to be feared, we are
nothing to be hated. We don't even
know what we are, much yet have
a plan to harm you. We do know that
we are many, and we are here. But
I for one can speak for the rest in
saying that I many things, but I am
NOT a freak!"

Powell's Academy for the Gifted was based on the principles
that the creatures of the night, which were previously feared,
were not freaks. In the walls of Powell's Academy, all sorts of
creatures walk in the light, not afraid of being who they are and
what they are. An array of creatures walks the halls, from vampires
to fairies, from pixies to werewolves. Even humans walk among
the strange and the stranger. But in this mixed environment, the
peace is hard to keep. And with so many rivaled races, how long will it last?
