Dorm Room Five
Jasper; Jeremy, Lux and Diesel
The third door on the left upon entering the boy's dorms, dorm five occupies up to four people. The walls are a dark golden color, with light brown curtains and bedding. Two mahogany bureaus to hold the boys clothes and personal items grace the walls, along with several shelves through out nailed above the beds; there is a small brown side table next to each bed. There are two windows [floor to ceiling] that look out over Grenma Pond and the Gardens. The flooring is dark tile, chipped in a few places, but antique enough to look good with it's surroundings.
There is a good sized kitchen area, sporting a small microwave, a small sink, counter top stove with two burners, and a mini fridge. The same tiling in the rooms go into the kitchen, but the walls are a light cream color, along with the counter tops.
The small bathroom mimics the kitchen area, with light cream walls and counter top. There is a mirror, a small medicine cabinet, a toilet and a sink. The floor in here, however, is white ceramic tiling.
There is one glass door leading out onto a small balcony that holds a few lawn chairs and a small outdoor closet for any items the boys need to store.
The first window bed is taken by Jasper.
The second window bed is taken by Jeremy.
The first wall bed is taken by Lux.
The second wall bed is taken by Diesel.

"Just perfect."
The thudding of two bags hitting the chipped tile.
The ride from the apartment buildings hadn't been the best, the car jerked too much for his taste and the road was far too bumpy to be driven on [never mind the fact that it was a dirt road]. But the worse had to be carrying his two over stuffed bags, all the way up three flights of stairs. That was far too much work for young Jasper Gates, and the first chance he got, he was going to inform the Headmaster that elevators should be placed in the foyer of the building.
On the plus side no one was here yet, so Jasper had first choice on what bed he wished to occupy. Of course he went with the window bed. On the left stood a small end table that he set one of his bags on and to the right was a bureau to separate both of the beds on this side. It wasn't the lap of luxury, but at least it was clean, or looked clean.
With a sigh he set the other bag on the floor and ventured warily into the small kitchenette. Not much there besides some un-popped popcorn and a couple of water bottles in the mini-fridge. "Way to clean..." He mumbled half heartedly under his breath, rolling his eyes before standing up straight and making his way to the small bathroom.
Quaint and overly cozy, Jasper squeezed in and shut the door behind him. Grumbling softly to himself.

Ka-PLUNK, Ka-PLUNK, Ka-PLUNK . . . CRASH
Merda!
It was hard enough going to the Academy, but getting lost on the fourth floor and mistaking the girls' dorms for the boy's was just the beginning of Hell. Lux had also dropped both of his suitcases down the stairs on his way to the boys' dormitories. Skipping two to three stairs each jump he took down the stairwell he finally made it to where the suitcases had crashed into a coffee table. He bent over and hoisted both of the dark-green canvas suitcases off the floor, and aligned the table to where it was by pushing it over to one side. He let out a sigh and closed his eyes for a moment.Thank GOD they didn't open up and spill all my stuff everywhere... He started to walk down the hallway, and looked side to side at the dorm numbers as he took each step. Uno, Due, Tre, Quatro... He stopped at room number five and dropped both of the bags on the floor. Fingering a crumpled sticky note in his pocket, Lux re-opened it and checked the number. "Camera Cinque. Si, è questa." He folded the note and placed it back in his jacket before knocking on the door.
"Buongiorno!"

It wasn't every day that one could see a tall guy carry around two bright pink suitcases.
Well, maybe if you lived in L.A. and saw a little blondie, smacking gum and talking on her cell phone, padding after him. But this was Brookings, and the closest you got to a signal on your cellphone was the right east corner of the building, and even then you had to stand on the roof and pray the satellite pointed in your direction even for a moment.
"I wonder if they do that on purpose..." Jeremy's eyes lowered to the ground for a moment as he let his mind get lost in his thoughts. The luggage he carried was in fact his, and he really didn't care what people thought, they were the last ones at the store and he wasn't going to carry his clothes in a duffel bag.
That was for the jocks.
Or the jerks.
What were they called again?
Shrugging he went back to his long strides, taking the last few steps two at a time before he landed on the third floor. Going to the left he headed towards the boy's dorm rooms, the doors were left open for now, once school started they would always be closed and you'd need to offer up a code or your DNA to get in. With a smirk Jeremy passed through the doors and stepped quickly down the hall.
Room number five had always been his home. For the last two years he bunked in there, last year there was a new rich boy who joined in the second semester and seemed to ruin the good mood he was in almost every day. But today, before he could even enter the room, there was a body blocking his way.
"Goedendag, können Sie in sie wissen." Jeremy smiled widely at the boy and waited for his reply. After a moment he hung his head and chuckled. "LOL. Sorry, didn't mean to speak in German." He looked up again grinning. "You can go in, you don't have to wait for someone to answer. Odds are, no one's in there."

Lux was more than just startled when a guy not much shorter than him spoke in rapid German before speaking in a language he could understand, but not speak perfectly. German? Lui è Tedesco? Well, as the first few words in German spewed out, Lux saw that the stranger was definitely huskier and brawnier than he was, considering Lux was a little on the lean side. As the stranger finished explaining, Lux noticed one thing that stood out: the two pink suitcases at his sides, which were definitely his, believe it or not. Cosa? Lui ha Rosa valigie? E la "LOL?" Che pazzo... But the first impression Jeremy made on Lux said that he was the friendly type, despite the little social quirks. Lux offered a genuine smile. Questo ragazzo è uno straniero come me? “Oh, Alright.” the reply came out so foreign-sounding and so mispronounced that it twanged like: “Oh, Awvight.” In all the time Lux had spent in the U.S., he still wasn't able to improve his English by a lot. But besides the slight remembrance of these facts, Lux stepped forward and grabbed the handle, and opened it a few inches. With that, he picked up his luggage bags, taking one in each hand."Oh, and I'm Lux, by the way." He gave a bright smile, and chuckled a little for not saying that earlier. Lux would have marched straight through the door then and there, had it not been for the fact that someone had poked him in the back.
The whole day had been a drag for poor Diesel. He had to write down that he couldn't talk at least a gazillion times today. The cab driver read the note explaining who he was, why he didn't talk, and that he needed to go to Brookshire Academy pronto. When the driver got them both there, he charged Diesel only half price, and he even escorted the mute to the lobby, carrying his two brown leather luggage bags there as well. When he left, Diesel could only pity the guy. Dumnezeu, jur. Isi pierdea timpul incercind sa ajute o alta fiinta omeneasca.
[/i] He shook his head and headed towards the main desk where the rooms were posted. Since they were all mixed-up and in no specific order, the rooms just went by in numbers, so Diesel searched through the listing s for his name until he found it under room number five. Having read that the boys' dorms were on the third floor, Diesel took out a blue notepad and jotted down some info he'd need when he came into contact with anyone and everyone in the building. So, loc cinci, etajul trei. Once finished, he made his way upstairs where he found two boys in a doorway; the very same doorway to his new dorm for the rest of the year. He came around towards one of the two, and poked him in the back, just as soon as he was about to go in. With a friendly grin he showed both of the boys the note, giving it to the guy with the pink suitcases. In less-than-crude handwriting it read:[/font] [/font][/size]
Without any kind of warning, the guy he'd poked in the back had tossed his suitcases aside and noogied him on the head, causing Diesel to drop his own luggage. Diesel, being shorter than the taller of the two foreign blondies, was put into a headlock and wrestled against the sudden attack while his dyed hair was being completely pillaged. In spite of this, he made a face that looked like he was laughing, if only he'd had the voice to truly show it.

It has not been a good day. I mean, I'm not known for having wonderful luck, but today just takes the cake. I get lost, I find a dagger in my bag, I phone the culprit, who is my mom, and she informs me that there's a tazer and two grenades in there, too. I sigh and massage my head as I stomp down the corridor. Normal people's moms don't put illegal weaponary in their suitcases when they go to boarding school. They put in snacks, and embarrassing sticky notes, and extra clothes. Maybe something a little worse. And they don't hack government satellites to get reception on their kid's pagers! I kick a door viciously. It hurts my toes more than it hurts the door.
It was after that last indignity that the worst bit happened. I don't want to think back to the wreckage of my violin, lying on the floor. Strings snapped, neck totalled, it's gonna take me ages to fix it. If I can fix it. I know the sound will be altered forever now. I'll have to sing it back into shape. It may not even work then. Of course, I would forget sellotape. Yes, you can fix anything with it, if you're good enough with sounds. That's what I'm in search of now. So far, all the doors I've stopped at have been silent. Great. Above all else, there's no one else here.
Ah. Here's a group. They're gonna think I'm nuts. I sure look the part. I can actually feel the angry flush in my cheeks, my wild eyes and hair, a cut on my chin where a string whipped back. I try and calm down, I untense my fists, I force a smile. It's not working. I still feel like a madman. Maybe they'll be so scared of me that they'll just give me what I need. It's a bizarre list, so probably not. But, hey, I deserve some optimism too.
"Hey," I say from behind them. I hope they believe in the saying, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'...

The bathroom was cursed.
Jasper was sure of it. Never in his life had everything gone completely wrong all at once. The toilet refused to flush, the copper handle broke off [twice], the plastic shower curtain statically stuck to his arm and wrapped around his feet, tripping him as he tried to stand up. And the worse part was the lack of running water from the sink. He was definitely writing a note to the Headmaster about this.
"Maybe I can still switch rooms..." He grumbled to himself while picking up his empty suitcase. He had spent the last few minutes discarding it's contents into the bureau beside his bed. Eh, nevermind...
And then he heard it. Well, not with his ears, but with his mind. The low murmur he had thought was coming from one of the other rooms was now coming from right outside the door, and the thoughts he was now reading sent his mind into overload. Gah! They're killing me! I hate languages. With a new grumpy expression on his face, Jasper headed for the door, threw it open and glared at the four boys standing outside the door. "Oy!"

"Jasper!" Jeremy proclaimed to the entire hall. One of his hands leaving the handle of his pink suitcase and raising in the air as though ready to give the boy a hug. You punk, these are our new roomies, stop being such a downer and smile. LOL [/color] The tall dutch boy was grinning even wider as he silently annoyed his friend through his thoughts. If he wanted to keep Jasper out, he'd think in German. Eine solche ärgerlich wenig brat. He chuckled to himself once more and turned his attention back to the two boys still stuck in a headlock. And finally to the even newer, newcomer. " Welcome friend! Your a new face, hope the administration didn't end up bunking five people to a four bed suite again. LOL, not sharing a bed this year." Jeremy winked expertly at the shorter boy and offered his hand for a shake. Hearing Jasper breath out a quick ' losers[/b]' before disappearing back inside the room.[/blockquote] |

At the word, "Jasper!" Lux dropped Diesel from the headlock and saw him go "KA-THUNK" right on the ground. She stifled a laugh, and shortly after he saw the boy called Jasper peek his head out of the room with a disdainful glare. Non mi sembra che lei è di buon umore... He then turned towards the other boy who looked as though he was off at a wild party before coming back to chill here. Lux practically towered one foot over the guy, but with the cheeky smile plastered on his face it was easy to say that he was the one and only gentle Italian giant. He was feeling a bit nervous, meeting new people who could actually speak the English language, and one guy who could [and needed to] write perfectly in it too! But he understood Jeremy's joke, and chuckled a bit. Then he faced Dorrien, and tried stepping into the conversation...
WHAT IS SAID:
"Hey! Who are you? Are you new or somebody who's been here before, like him?"
WHAT IS HEARD:
"Oy! Hoo are you? Ar-you noo or someh-body who'z been hear before, like heem?"
He pointed to Jeremy.
...Well, A for EFFORT.
KA-THUNK.
Poor Diesel. He can't even say, "OOF!"
He scrambled to get up, just fast enough to see the last of Jasper stomp back into the room. He re-gathered his suitcases and hauled them over by the wall near the door. He looked back towards the tall, foreign blonde-giant who'd randomly put him into a headlock, but then picked up the note explaining his welcome and why he couldn't speak. He'd just shown it to them, but the only reaction he got was from the Italian blondie. He heaved a sigh, but managed to stick the note into his left jean pocket, and picked up the luggage again and pushed his way through into the dorm. Diesel chose a wall bed, mainly because he felt cozier and wasn't really all for sunlight blinding him each morning. Jasper was still in the room, but Diesel gould tell that he wasn't in the mood for talking.
He gazed around the dorm, and walked here and there from the kitchen to the windows and even to the bathroom [which was the only thing he didn't quite like at all thus far]. Strutting back over towards the windows, Diesel opened the balcony doors and went outside as a fresh breeze whipped around. He saw Grenma Pond, and stared at the gardens, and stared at a black and white doggie sunbathing.
Suddenly, a newly-remembered thought A-bombed his brain. Am sa obtina Othello! He facepalmed himself with enough force to make a resonating "SMACK," sound. Diesel produced an ear-splitting whistle that could have been heard all the way to the Headmaster's office. Othello, jerking awake from his little escapade outside, looked at Diesel for one moment and then bolted like a furry little racecar into the building. The next minute the patter of pawsteps could be heard out in the hall, and then a very foreign chuckle from Lux before Othello pushed his way between the boys by the door, and bounded into the dorm and pounced on Diesel.
IIIII MIISSSSEEEEDD YOUUUU!!!!!
The dog couldn't hold back; he licked his owner all over his face and squished him when he pounced on him. He was outside all day, in the same spot Diesel told him to wait more than four hours ago.
SOOOO, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TODAYYYY? ?
Othello finally got off of his master, when he was pushed off in a desperate attempt to get air. He watched him with curious eyes as Diesel walked over to his suitcase to take out something from the carryon's side pocket. It was a...
SQUEAKYYYYY TOYYYYY!!!!!
He whined and barked and wagged his tail so hard it hit the walls with a "THUD, THUD, THUD."
His master threw the rubber, fuzzy blue plushie over onto his bed.
Othello couldn't help it. It was thrown, and he fetched.
BOING!
He shook the bed.
Now there were dog hairs all over the room.

Okay, so this is going far better than expected, actually. I'm not ignored, and that happens a lot in any situation. I'm small, I'm quiet, and I don't see with my eyes. They're milky, and that creeps people out. QED, I become part of the furniture, because everyone's too uncertain to strike up a conversation. That's why I'm psyched to be here. Everyone's at least a little weird. I won't stand out that greatly.
Look! It's already off to a good start. I am greeted by a random bloke carrying... Is that really a pink suitcase? I can't double check with my eyes, obviously, so I ignore it. Not an issue. I smile straight at the bloke, getting a 'look' at him. Cheerful, European, like me. In fact, most of the guys here seem to be. And the guys! There's a giant here! Big, Italian, but his sound is friendly and new. And there's a chap coming out of the bathroom now. He rings with pompous annoyance which I find a little amusing. He'd never have coped with some of the places I was forced to stay! I feel my stance relax, a quiet grin forming on my face. I like people. But people don't always like me.
Now, time to answer. I shake my head, laughing softly. "Don't panic. I come from another room," I assure the first speaker. "No, actually, I came to borrow some stuff..." Let's see how the greetings go down before I actually ask for what I need. The giant is speaking to me, too. His words are a little garbled, but I get the meaning behind them easily enough. I give him a grin, too, and answer.
The words come out strangely. It's English. It has to be. That's what it sounds like to me, and to the rest. But there's a fuzzy, echoing tone to it, and, to the large boy, it will sound like his home language, which I know is Italian. I recognise the accent. "Hi, I'm new here, too," is what I say to him. I look down, abashed. It's not my fault. I don't do it consciously. In fact, I have to work hard to prevent it happening. I don't know what the rules are here, but I get the feeling that what I just did broke them. Great.
"My name's Danny, by the way," I add sheepishly, looking up. I run a hand through my scruffy hair. Why can't I just have a bit of luck? A dog barrels past me, then, and I can hear its pleasure of finding its owner, a lad I hadn't really noticed much. His sound is quiet, distant. I tilt my head, fascinated. Now things are getting interesting...

Chuckles erupt from Jeremy's throat, a large smile widens on his lips and the German can't help but reach down and try to pet the hyperactive dog before it passes him. He's boisterous, isn't ashamed about it, and let's his laugh ring through the corridor for a moment. With a smile he turns back towards the new boy, on the shorter side [then again most people were short to him, except for this Italian man before him.] and his milky blue eyes held quite a mystery for Jeremy. One he wanted to figure out.
But now wasn't the time for him to start making assumptions and attempting to figure out the answer. He'd been traveling all day, and his arms were almost numb from dragging his suitcases along the dirt road leading to the school. Unlike some people, Jasper...
[/color], he mentally coughed, making sure his princely roommate heard him, he didn't have the luxury or the patience to wait for some car to pick him up from his apartment room. Besides, walking was good for the body, and Jeremy was a rather fit guy. He didn't appear to be lithe and agile like the two boys surrounding him, his German blood made him appear a little on the bulky side. Not fat, just his muscles showed up beneath his clothes better then most people, yet he was probably just as lithe as both Lux and this new boy, Danny was. " Well, no point in standing out here, when there's something interesting going on in that room." He chuckled and pointed one hand towards the open door. His other lifted and rested on Danny's head, for some reason he felt the urge to ruffle the boys hair and point him in the right direction of the door. Grabbing the handles of both his pink suitcases he whisked himself inside, yet again letting a loud laugh escape his lips. " Verfluchter hund, eine verwirrung mit seinem pelz bildend. Ich räume nicht den auf. Möglicherweise kann ich Jaspis erhalten, um ihn zu tun. Er scheint, wie er in einer guten Stimmung ist. LOL." Jeremy joked between bouts of laughter, not caring that probably no one could understand him. He flipped his two suitcases on the second bed next to the window and collapsed on top of it. His back squishing into the Velcro and popping in a few different places. Tired, he was, sleepy? Not so much. Sitting up he winked at Jasper, who say pouting across from him, and glanced back towards the door, waiting for Lux and Danny to join their happy little group.
Annoying twit. Jasper glared at the dog as he bounded around the room and onto the bed diagonal from him. Damn thing better not be sleeping in here. Or I'll REALLY send a letter to the headmaster. Things like this shouldn't be-[/color] He winced, Jeremy's loud laughter and even louder German breaking any thought process, Jasper had wished to have. He wasn't sure what the idiotic German had said, but he was sure he heard his name in there somewhere. Something along the lines of "Jaspis". And in return of his wink, Jasper simply scowled and curled up against the wall. There were still two more people outside. The overly tall Italian, and another one he hadn't seen. But as far as he could tell the fourth one actually spoke English, which eased the migraine already forming in his annoyed head. Damn all these foreigners.... Not that Jasper had a problem with any of them, he was just cranky, and tired, and sorely disappointed that his roommates weren't uglier. At least then he'd have the right to gloat. But no, for the second year in a row he had that damn Jeremy in his room. Now there were the other two. The tall, handsome Italian. And... Well, he wasn't sure what the other one was, Jasper hadn't really focused on his voice individually. And he hadn't heard him speak out loud. Oh what did he care? At least no one could read his thoughts. [/blockquote] |

"Oh, vell it'za nice to meet you too, Dannee," Lux replied with yet another grin. He was happy he was getting along with new people; usually his height was a bit of a "barrier" between the world below his head, and the one that was his head. Lux was always the gullible one; he trusted people far too easily and shrugged off most insults or minor stumbles in a conversation. "I'm Lux Gliero." He pronounced "Gliero" as "YLEE-er-OH," as the Italian pronounciation goes. Lux was about to offer his hand for a handshake with Danny, when all of a sudden a huge black-and-white dog bolted through the three of them outside the door, and straight onto Diesel. The giant Italian was about to fall over, but he caught his footing just in time.
Jeremy's laughter boomed right below him, and with that Lux managed to chuckle at how funny it was that a random dog crash-landed into the dorm. Not only did Jeremy laugh, he made yet another comment in German between more laughter, and the only thing that Lux could understand out of all of it was the "LOL." He snickered. "Che cane!"
Lux picked up his suitcases and followed Jeremy into the dorm, which was not half bad-looking in his opinion. He picked the last bed in the room, and tossed both of his dark-green canvas suitcases upon it. He stared at the dog, which was quite cute in his opinion. It was chewing on a squeaky-toy like this one. Meanwhile, the Romanian he'd noogied just moments ago was busy taking out several European CD's and a medium-sized Radio/CD player, which he thought was particularly sweet. He glanced back at the dog, and wondered what his name was. Temporarily forgetting that Diesel was a mute, he spoke to the Romanian.
“'Eyy, ah, Deezel!” Diesel faced Lux for a moment.
“What'se your dog'z name?”
“It's Othello.”Hey.
Hang on here.
If I, Pez, just said that Diesel's a mute, then where the heck did he get the voice from?
Pssh. Othello, of course!
If you don't know Diesel's power already, then I suggest you take a look at his profile to fully understand this entire post. I don't wanna confuse y'all.
Oh! And by the way, whenever Diesel's font is mixed with Othello's dialogue color, it means he's speaking through Othello, 'K?
Aaaand we're rolling, people!
[/font] Diesel spoke. Except Othello's mouth moved as his did, and provided the voice, too. But both their actions were so perfectly synced together it was really like Diesel could talk. The voice also sounded very American, far too much for it to belong to a foreigner. So, what gives?
It hit Lux like a bolt of lightning from a clear sky.
Diesel. Talking.
Dog. Talking.

These guys seem pretty cool, actually. Except for that Jasper. His sound is obnoxious. Usually, it's a cover, for a nicer person. In this case, I'm starting to think not. But, come on, Danny. That's not fair. You can't judge someone by his cover. Yeah, but it's not just the cover I see. It's the inside, too. Urgh. My reproving mind-voice sounds just like my mom. And, at the moment, I'm still annoyed with her. But, still, maybe it's right. I should reserve judgement. I mean, who am I to dish it out?
I'm invited into the room, but I lean against the doorway. I need to hurry, if I'm going to fix my precious violin. She'll lose her memory of what should be, otherwise. It's hard to explain. I do smile lightly at his joke. Mostly because he's laughing, but partly because I actually understand the jist behind it, if not the actual words. Automatic translation. Very useful. Something about soundwaves and my brain, according to some scientist bloke somewhere. I don't care why or how it happens. I'm just glad it does. I nod to the Italian, who also seems like a nice enough chap. But then, it's probably that Italian sun gotten to his brain. Cool to meet you, Lux," I answer. I like his surname. It rolls off the tongue.
I don't go in. "Erm... I was wondering..." I say, to the room in general, "Could I just borrow some... Some sellotape, plasters and... Does anyone have gel toothpaste? Then I'll be out of your hair," I promise, aiming this mainly to Jasper. I need to work fast. Otherwise, it won't merge.
However, I am distracted by a phenomenon. The large Italian, Lux, asks the dog's name, and the dog answers. I can hear a connection between the dog and silent boy, and realise, with compassion, that he cannot speak for himself. I know how it feels to be left out of something. I grin at him. "That's damn cool!" I exclaim. It is! I wonder how he does it...

"Oh ho ho!" Once again Jeremy's voice seemed to boom out over the room. He wasn't a quiet man in any sense of the word. Not only was he tall, ruggedly handsome, and for the most part loud [he even snores a bit in his sleep], he also acted in ways that seemed to just beg for attention. Like the bright pink suitcases for example. Of course he isn't always that loud and in your face, when he's in front of a computer screen he seems to just blend into the wall paper. Totally disappears from sight, and sound. So, in all, Jeremy was just plain extreme. No middle ground with this German boy.
"Mein Gott." It was just plain weird. A moment before Jeremy had been laughing, thinking that Diesel had used some sort of recording device to make it seem the dog had talked. But now, that he had a chance to actually let his senses take in his surroundings, Jeremy noticed that the only electronic devices were cell phones, a stereo, a few other doodads. But not one was a recorder. Diese hundewirklich speiche. It wasn't something Jeremy had ever seen before, and his curiosity got the best of him. Jumping from the bed he stepped to the dogs side, which was only about two steps with his long strides, and glanced up at Diesel. "Würden sie um sich wenn kümmern- Er. Would you mind if I petted him? Othello, right?" The first part was directed towards the boy, the second part directed to the furry pet before him.
Jeremy glanced down and flashed a smile at the pup. A wide grin that was nothing but friendly, as his mind went wild with questions.
In fluent German, by the way.
Yay, the dog talks. Whoo. Whatever. Not much could surprise Jasper anymore. And this fluttering of foreign languages buzzing in his head was giving him a headache. Gah. Jeremy, I swear. The grumpy boy took solace in the fact that no one else in this room could read his thoughts and started to counter that foreign gibberish with his own onslaught of choice words.
Italian boy needs to get knocked down a few pegs, his height is a bit disturbing. His eyes studied Lux, his mouth staying in the same thin line as it always was, neither frowning nor smiling. He rolled his eyes and moved onto the next one. Ah. Jeremy. The loud mouth. Mr. Nice. If he'd tone down the damn thinking, he might actually be a halfway decent guy. Damn German.

He scoffed, sighed, glared, grumbled, turned and walked out the balcony door so he wouldn't have to here the rest of them jabbering. But. Just his luck, he could still here all four of their thoughts [thankfully he couldn't hear the dogs, though he assumed it was mostly sit, ball, sleep, poop, eat, ball, food, roll around, ball, person, sniff, ball, repeat], and just above them was the girls balcony and there were a few girls clamoring about above him. Great. Now I can hear the damn foreigners jump all over a talking dog, and here all about girls and their female, sappy, dramatic problems.

Lux agreed with Danny and Jeremy. He didn't know that this guy was so gifted, discerning the fact that he just met him five minutes ago. He wanted to pet Othello, but he had something else on his mind: Jasper's moodiness. Lux could barely stand it. So much negativity coming from one person made him want to fade away from all the positive energy bubbling up in the room. Lux's smile faltered and loosened up into a smaller, thinner expression; the exact median of the clashing vibes in the room.
"Hn."
Turning to the wall, he took the last remaining bed. There were a few shelves lining the walls but nothing much else to store any extra things. The dressers were only for clothes, which Lux needed to organize. Blegh. He continued thinking about it. Blegh-egh-EGH. Some of his clothes were almost definitely shaken and disheveled when he dropped them down the stairs. By accident. Merda. Ho troppo lavoro per fare oggi! Furrowing his brow while ruffling his hair, he bent down (quite fun to watch, considering his height) and picked up the suitcase with his garments inside it. Punching in the combination to all three locks that held the compartments in place, he unzipped the whole thing and simply chucked the mountain of clothing on the bed all in one dandy klutzy movement. Just like that.
He stared blankly at the ridiculous pile of clothes.

"Haha, thanks, guys.” There was a grin on his face; cheery on the outside, unsteady on the inside. It was something he had to introduce to these people at the school early, so that for one thing or another, they'd get used to it like him. All of them eventually learning that Othello was the only thing standing between being given the freedom verbal communication and silence. He turned to Jeremy. “Go ahead. I don't mind, and neither does he." He grinned at Jeremy. Diesel noogied Othello, and went back to taking out some more junk from his suitcases as if making his dog talk was everyday business. Which was partially true. De ce nu-i aduca atit de mult? He took out more personal items; even his laptop. As he set that aside with its cord, plug and charger, he mused over his inventory. Haine, periuta de dinti...PERIUTA DE DINTI! The toothpaste was offered to Danny, Diesel having both listened to the boy's odd request and quite okay with giving one tube of toothpaste away for free. He had another somewhere in his luggage. He just had to find it.
